-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 This happens to me a lot -- I'm out with friends, and we decide to get some beer somewhere. Inevitably we get asked for ID, and I never have mine. After all, this isn't Soviet Russia; why should I have to show my papers to anyone that asks? "Prove that you're not doing anything illegal," is not how America works. Although I usually get by, I always get weird looks afterwards, as though I just killed somebody. It's really creepy, because it happens every time, no matter who I am with. Personally, I expect friends to back me up and say something like, "hey man, that sucks; what a shitty police state we live in". Instead I get a reactionary "OMG YOU DON'T HAVE ID YOU TERRIST CRIMINAL BABY EATER OMG!!111". This really worries me. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iQCVAwUBRfPFGNAZeFPdJeQvAQJ6uQP/Y5d+bUGvnL3spYGShlUoxPKlNbLCOss6 ebEZMTYmZbqTjEhI/56aMQ4Ir6RkXC6mttY40Roa6TBJvuGsLjsj6B1wY6KGwZPk 8HjrSXIQ+meVTn/bNyPjc++henUNStjSbs3S0uTpIniQH2IFDQ2UrrzDarq4E+2y /hUgqCMNMP0= =sfQm -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
